Villa. c1834 with later additions and alterations.
Pinkish-brown brick in Flemish bond with painted stucco to
front facade and right return, Welsh slate roof and cast-iron
verandah.
2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. Central hallway plan. First
floor has 6/6 sashes with horns in plain reveals with sills.
Ground floor: continuous roll-edged step. Central entrance a
3-panel door with overlight with glazing bars, tall 6/6 sashes
with horns, plain reveals and sills. Hipped roof. Tall end
stacks with cornices. Continuous verandah to ground floor has
scroll-motif to struts and frieze, glazed roof.
INTERIOR: marble fireplace to ground floor, left room, ceiling
roses and cornices. Reputed to have original fireplace to
first floor. Forms an architectural group with No.123 Radford
Road and No.217 Leam Terrace (qqv).
