Detached house. c1858. Stucco and knapped flint, roof of
asbestos slate.
3 storeys over basement, 3-window range and double-fronted.
The front is faced with knapped flint framed into panels by
stucco storey bands and quoins. Flat-arched entrance with
overlight set back under a round-arched porch with pilasters,
archivolt and cornice. All windows flat-arched; single-storey
canted bays either side of entrance, the mullions treated as
pilasters with stepped capitals; cornice and blocking course;
broad storey band between ground and first floors; first-floor
windows have eared architraves and exiguous cornices; another
broad storey band; outer third-floor windows raised to break
through the cornice; sashes of original design to all except
outer third-floor windows; bracketed eaves; hipped roof;
2-storey stuccoed and hipped extension to north-east.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Stuccoed, panelled and coped garden wall survives in part to
north-east with square rusticated and corniced piers.
