Villa. 1837, altered. Pebble-dashed brick, slate roof. Gothick
style. Double-depth double-fronted plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. Almost symmetrical, with
a plinth. The ground floor has a Tudor-arched doorway in the
centre with panelled door and side windows in similar style
and fanlight with intersecting glazing bars, protected by a
pilastered wooden porch with a Tudor arch and a moulded
cornice with acorn finials. Canted bay window to the right,
and a tall 3-light window to the left. The upper floor has
shorter 3-light windows. All these windows have narrow
Tudor-arched lights with thin horizontal glazing bars, and all
except the bay have raised sills and stone lintels with
hoodmoulds.
Roof with oversailing verges and gable chimneys. C20 garage
attached to left end (with matching glazing in doors).
INTERIOR: not inspected.
