House with ground floor shop, now offices. Early-mid C18 and
later, refurbished 1991. Multi-coloured stock brick with red
brick dressings. Renewed tiled mansard roof with dormers
behind parapet.
3 storeys and attic, 2 bays. Ground-floor shop front with
entrance to left. 1st- and 2nd-floor sashes with glazing bars
under flat, gauged-brick arches. Stucco band at 1st floor,
plain brick band at 2nd floor.
INTERIOR: pitch pine closed string staircase with square newel
and rail, twisted and tapering balusters on vases; plain
panelling to staircase wall, copied where missing. 1st-floor
front room with fielded panelling; cupboard to right of
fireplace with reeded architrave, rosettes at angles; moulded
chair rail and cornice. To left, alcove with leaf key, shaped
shelves, and coved roof painted with sun and ram's head.
