Substantial mid C18 house now divided. 2 storeys and attic, 4 windows. Hipped
gambrel roof with old tiles behind, front now covered in Welsh slate. Chimneys
at 4 corners. No 37 painted brick, the others early C19 stucco with incised lines.
4 flat dormers, also early C19 as are 1st floor sash windows with delicate glazing
bars, all but No 37 in moulded stucco architraves. Modern shops on ground floor.
Rear elevation is tile hung above, with replaced fenestration, and has various
small commercial extensions on ground floor and basement, which is of full height.
