Probably C17 timber framed building re-fronted in C18 and used as 2 separate dwellings.
2 storeys and attic, 4 windows in all. High pitched tiled roof, the eastern part
with 2 hipped dormers. Sash windows with glazing bars on 1st floor, one curved
on plan, and a modern oriel bay with half-pyramidal roof and fancy glazing. Left
part of painted brick, right part stuccoed. On ground floor a small early C19
bay window, a door with pilasters, oblong fanlight and flat hood; and another
plain door at left.
Nos 42 to 50 (even) form a group.
