Farmhouse. Late C16/early C17. 3 cell main range with cross wing to west;
probably originally 2 detached ranges, the cross wing the earlier. Timber
framed; the main range is part roughcast rendered and part plastered, the
cross wing mostly faced in colourwashed brick; the roof is plaintiled to front
and pantiled to rear. 2 storeys and attic. Various casement windows, mostly
C20; 2 good ovolo-moulded mullioned windows to rear of main range. The facade
of the cross wing has a mid C19 doorcase with panelled pilasters, frieze and
heavy bracketed hood; 6-panel door, the upper 2 panels glazed. Internal
rendered brick stack to main range with an inset panel in the base. Interior
with some fine exposed framing, old floorboarding and many original doors; in
the rear wall of the cross wing a 6-light mullioned window has been exposed.
