Farmhouse. Early-mid C17 with C19 service range to left; extended and
modernised c.1937. Timber framed, cased in red brick except for the facade
which is plastered; pantiled roof with glazed black tiles to the front. 2
storeys and attic. 2 cell form with lobby entry. Mid C20 3-light metal
casement windows; mid C20 gabled entrance porch with room over; 6-panel door,
the upper 2 panels glazed. Central internal stack. Red brick service range
with 3 windows: casements under segmental arches. Modernised interior: main
beams with barred stop-chamfers; some good arched brick fireplaces; exposed
roof structure with clasped and butt purlins and arched wind-bracing.
