Estate cottage, one of a matching pair with Jesma Cottage (q.v.).
Mid C19. White brick, slated roof. One storey and basement; at
the rear the basement is at ground floor level. 3-bay facade,
the bays separated by brick pilasters; dummy cross windows with
semi-circular arched upper lights and glazing bars in a geometric
pattern; centre bay altered with mid C20 casement window; boarded
semi-circular openings at basement level, the centre one replaced
by a mid C20 window. Gable end stacks. Overhanging roof to
gable ends forming a broken pediment; on each gable end is a
quatrefoil in a square panel. Rear elevation altered with mid
C20 windows and doors. Although altered, included for group
value with Jesma Cottage as one of the pair.
