Estate cottage, one of a matching pair with Rose Cottage (q.v.).
Mid C19. White brick, slated roof. One storey and basement; at
the rear the basement is at ground floor level. 3-bay facade,
the bays separated by brick pilasters; dummy cross windows with
semi-circular arched upper lights and glazing bars in a geometric
pattern, the centre window partly glazed; semi-circular openings
at basement level. Gable end stacks. Overhanging roof to gable
ends forming a broken pediment; on left hand gable end a
quatrefoil in a square panel, on right hand gable end another
dummy window. 2 window range to rear, 3-light casements with
elliptical arch over and pointed centre light; central boarded
door. Small outbuilding to rear in matching style.
