Farmhouse. In 3 sections forming L shape plan: front range late
C16/early C17, the earlier part to the east; rear range
probably C18 with later alterations. Front range: timber framed
and plastered with some C19 and C20 brick casing; roof clad in
corrugated iron to front and plaintiled to rear; 2 storeys and
attic; various C19 and C20 casement windows, the older ones with
square leaded panes; doorway with 6-panel door, the upper 4
panels glazed, C20 gabled porch; internal stack. Rear wing:
timber framed, brick casing (part colourwashed), plaintiled roof;
2 storeys; casement windows with square leaded panes, brick
dentil eaves cornice. Interior of oldest part retains some
ovolo-moulded mullion windows; from the framing it appears that
the rear range was originally detached.
