Farmhouse. Late C16; the right hand gable end is dated 'R.G.G 1888'; single
storey C19 wing to left hand side. Timber framed, part roughcast render, part
cased in colourwashed brick; roof with black pantiles to front and slates to
rear. 2 storeys and attic. 3 cell plan. 3 windows, various mid C20
casements; lobby entrance with late C19 6-panel raised and fielded door,
pilasters, fluted frieze with enrichments and cornice. One internal stack and
a small external stack on the left hand gable end. Interior with some exposed
framing, mainly at the left hand end; the centre room on the ground floor has
chamfered joists, some C17 panelling and an original 3-light moulded mullion
window (blocked). Original stairs removed, probably in C19.
