Former farmhouse, divided into 2 cottages during C19, now one house. Early C17
and C18: 2 builds. 1½ storeys. Timber-framed and rendered: C18 red brick
tumbled south gable, with string course and 2 blocked openings to upper storey,
incorporates a chimney-stack, but was rendered over in mid C20. Thatched roof.
Internal chimney-stack with plain red brick shaft has been tunnelled through on
ground storey: small brick projection on front of house is the remains of a
bake-oven. Range of 5 mid C20 casement windows, 2 replacing doors: 3 eyebrow
dormers. Flat-roofed C20 extension at rear.
