Village smithy, now garages to Pump Green Cottage. Early C19. Single-storey.
Red brick. Fully hipped roof: black glazed double Roman tiles and ridge of
ornamental tiles with pierced semi-circular cresting. Front with 3
'Romanesque' arches: flat pilasters and 4-centred arched heads, recessed panels
containing late C20 windows in older openings, with cambered heads and
rectangular hood-moulds. The northernmost archway was originally open, and
formed the 'traverse' of the smithy, which was in use until the 1930's.
