Warehouse and town houses, now offices. Mid to later C18,
front comprehensively restored and interior rebuilt c1980.
Flemish bond brown brick with grey slate roof, ridge parallel
with front.
EXTERIOR: 4 storeys of 3 bays plus full-height altered
loading-bay front, weatherboarded and with a casement to each
storey, formerly a loading-door, at north end. The first
storey has a 4;12;4-pane tripartite sash and, under a fascia
and cornice, door of 6 fielded panels between a 32-pane
reconstructed bow window and a 12-pane bow window formerly a
shopfront; an L-shaped external stone stair of 5 and 4 steps,
south, to second storey door of 6 fielded panels with
overlight in simple pedimented case. The second storey has two
4;12;4-pane tripartite sashes and a Gothick fixed light. The
third storey has a 4;12;4-pane tripartite sash and two 12-pane
sashes above a sillband. The fourth storey has a tripartite
sash and 2 single sashes. Windows have painted stone sills and
gauged brick heads. A cast-iron rainwater pipe and head. 2
chimneys on south gable. The southern part of the front is
angled towards Shipgate Street.
INTERIOR is wholly rebuilt.
