Stables, now engineering works premises. Early C19. Coursed
gritstone, low pitched hipped slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays,
the central bay wider. Central large round-arched carriageway
with voussoirs, now glazed. Flanking segmental-arched windows
with keyed lintels and plain sills; round-arched upper-floor
windows with voussoirs and plain sills on brackets. Gutter
brackets, small open pediment on brackets centre.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Possibly built as the stables to Wanstead House (see 1834 map,
demolished).
