House incorporating shop. Probably C17 in origin, remodelled early C19.
Red brick; plain tile roof; brick ridge stacks. Lobby entry plan.
2 storeys with first floor band and dentilled eaves; 4 slightly irregular
bays, the inner windows are 16-pane glazing bar sashes with wedge lintels
and raised keys, first floor small glazing bar casement to left with
wedge lintel and raised key, balanced on the right by a small blind
segmental headed window; ground floor canted bay shop window and half-
glazed door to left, roughly central 6-panelled door with moulded pilasters
and bracketed hood. Occupies a key position in the centre of the town.
