House. C18 with later alterations. Red brick; plain tile roof;
central brick stack. Lobby entry plan. 2 storeys and attic with
dentilled eaves course; 3 windows, C20 sashes, those to ground floor
with cambered heads; later lean-to projection to ground floor left
with overhanging slate roof, bow window to left and blocked doorway to
right; 6-panelled door to right of centre with wooden doorcase, panelled
pilasters and cornice hood. Occupies a key position in the centre of
town.
