House incorporating shop. Mid to late C18. Red brick; clay tile
roof; brick integral end stacks. 2 storeys and gable-lit attic with
dentilled eaves course; 2 windows, glazing bar sashes, near flush
framed with shaped lintels and raised keys, ground floor window to right
is a 4-pane sash with horns; C20 shop front to left with glazed door
flanked by plate glass windows and approached by short flight of steps.
Important position opposite the Butter Cross. (q.v.).
