Barn. Early C18, various later alterations. Coursed gritstone with large quoins.
Stone slate roof, catslide to north over outshuts. South facade - chamfered
doorcase with large quoins. Flat stone hood over, supported by two tapering
octagonal columns. Thin ventilation slits over rest of facade in regular pattern .
Above, to east, hayloft door. North facade - single bay outshut to west with flush
doorcase. Adjoining to east,recessed bay with full height double plank doors to
flagged threshing area. Beyond,to east, two bays of outshut with flush
surround doors. Interior - three queen strut trusses with collar ties,dividing
wall to easternmost bay. North walls have stone base with blocked niches. Above,
stone piers with later brick infill. Large door has oak lintel, and jambs set
on stone bases.
