Almshouses. Endowed by Henry Medbury, died 1705. Squared coursed limestone with
slate roofs. Originally single-unit plans. Single storey with attic. 2-window
range. No.17 has leaded casement and No.19 has casement with glazing bars, both
under wood lintels. Pair of central C19 plank doors also under wood lintels.
Pair of gabled roof dormers with casement windows. Ashlar gable parapets and
kneelers and central brick and ashlar stacks. Illegible plaque with cornice
above doors. Interiors not inspected. Included for group value.
