Ferryman's Cottage. Mid C19. Rough-faced stone with rock-faced dressings;
Welsh slate roof. 1 storey + attics, 2 bays. 12-pane sash windows in raised
alternating-block surrounds; central raking dormer with 12-pane Yorkshire sash.
Very steeply-pitched roof; stepped-and-banded end stacks. Right return shows
boarded door and 6-pane casement under timber lintel, and 6-pane attic casement
in raised stone surround.
Interior not seen; may have cruck roof trusses.
Victorian cottage in deliberate vernacular style for picturesque effect.
