House. 1715 and 1808 on datestones. Limestone ashlar and some brick; artificial
stone-slate roof with ashlar and rendered stacks. 2-unit plan extended to 3
units. 2 storeys plus attic. 2 bays to left of 3-window front are earlier and
have a wide doorway, with a wooden dentil canopy on consoles, flanked by tall
stone-mullioned and transomed windows on both floors which may be renewed. Added
bay to right is in brick at first floor and has similar windows and a second
door. Roof has gable parapets, 3 gabled roof dormers and has, to left, a
triple-shafted stack with plinth and moulded cap. Datestones eroded but noted as
inscribed "1715" and "Clover Hall, Sandford, Oxon 1808". Interior not inspected.
