Farmhouse. C17. Coursed limestone rubble with some ashlar dressings;
Stonesfield-slate roof with ashlar stacks, L-plan. 2 storeys plus attic and 2
storeys. 2-window front has a central doorway flanked by 4-light stone-mullioned
windows with labels at ground and first floors. Left gable wall has aligned
mullioned windows of 4, 3 and 2 lights. 2-window rear wing, returning to left,
has 3-light mullioned windows and a further entrance. Main roof has gable stacks
and both ranges have central ridge stacks, all with plinths and moulded caps.
Interior: vaulted cellar; winder stair to attic; trenched-purlin roof. Possibly
converted early from a lobby-entry plan.
