Farmhouse. Circa 1650. Rendered timber frame; slate roof with catslide
over outshut to south-west. Baffle-entry plan house; 2 framed bays,
aligned north-west/south-east. 2 storeys; large central brick and stone
ridge stack. Framing: square panels. North-east (entrance) front only
has a small first floor 2-light casement to right and ground floor 2-
light metal casement to right; central C20 boarded door. Left-hand
gable-end with mid-to-late C19 two-light segmental-headed wooden casements
and segmental-headed boarded door to right. Late C20 addition to
north-west. Interior: right-hand ground floor room has chamfered beams
with ogee stops and chamfered joists with run-out stops, and large open
fireplace with chamfered lintel and bracketed mantle; left-hand ground
floor room has chamfered beam and open fireplace with early C19 surrounnd
and spit rack above.
