Cottage. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber-framed
with red brick infill; straw thatch roof. One storey and attic;
apparently of two framed bays. Framing: square panels. Three from cill to wall-
plate with short straight tension brace to left gable end. Late C19
casements to left and right of plank door under gabled timber porch [in
process of construction at time of resurvey (January 1987)] to right
of centre. Central straight eyebrow eaves dormer has two late C19 casements.
Truncated internal end stack to right and external end stack to left.
Late C18 or C19 painted brick lean-to to rear on left also has thatch
roof.
