Cottage. Early C17. Timber framed with painted wattle and daub and
brick infill. Plain tile roof. Framing: square panels, 3 from sole
plate to wall plate. 2 framed bays. 2 storeys. Large external brick
end stack to west. South front: first-floor 2-light wooden casement
off-centre to left, ground-floor 2 light wooden casement off-centre to
left and small one-light window off-centre to right. Left-hand gable
end with boarded door to right of stack and exposed collar and tie-beam
truss with queen struts. C19 lean-to addition adjoining stack. Interior
not inspected but chamfered ceiling beam noted in left hand ground-floor
room. The right-hand end wall only partly survives.
