Chapel. Mid C18. Painted rubble, double roman tile half-hipped roof. Two storeys, 3
windowed, pointed wood casements with Y-tracery; pair of 6-panel doors under pointed
arch with Y-tracery, right. Large newer wing (1895) left, in brick, classrooms.
Interior: U-plan balcony on slender 'Batty Langlay' cast iron columns, panelled
front; semi-circular rail with wide-spaced twisted balusters, and steps to central
pulpit, all finely panelled, painted and grained. Potch-pine pews below and curved to
follow gallery above. Flat plaster ceiling with central rosette. Pointed arch entry
from classrooms left of pulpit.
