Pair of dwellings. Probably late C17, much C19 reconstruction. Squared and coursed
stone, concrete tile roof. Small T-plan block with lower roofed section, left, and
large Cotswold gable, left, in main block; three stacks in limestone ashlar with
moulded cappings, including large stack with wide base to left gable of higher unit.
1½ storeys, 1+1 windowed: 2-light casement with leading under segmental head, left,
one-light over 2-light stone hollow chamfer mullioned under moulded and stopped drips,
to gable, and mid C20 glazed door and porch, right. Return gable, right, two 2-light
stone hollow chamfer mullioned under moulded and stopped drips.

This building is raised on an embankment above Church Road, and is a prominent unit in
the street scene especially in approaches from the east.
