House. Late C17 and mid C19. C17 part: deeply coursed, squared
gritstone, stone slate roof, C19 part: finely tooled ashlar gritstone,
stone slate roof, Welsh slate to rear, 5-bay C19 part with pedimented
central bay breaking forward and projecting to rear, twin roof to bays
1 and 2, single roof and outshut to bays 4 and 5. Lower gabled C17 bay
to right, 2 storeys, 5:1 bays. C17 range: plinth, quoins. 3-light
double-chamfered mullion window to each floor, blind square opening to
gable has ledge and dripstone. Shaped kneelers, chamfered gable copings,
tall apex finial. Renewed ashlar end stack to right, C19 part: sashes
with glazing bars throughout, Part-glazed door to bay 2 has leaded lights
with painted roundels, open wood porch. French window to bay 4. Tripartite
sashes to bays 1 and 5. Central canted bay-window surmounted by decorative
cast iron balustrade. Glazed balcony door. First floor sill band links
sashes of all outer bays, Plain coped pediment, tall apex finial. Right
return of C17 part: door to left in chamfered quoined surround.
