School. 1828; slightly extended and altered. Watershot coursed
sandstone blocks, slate roof. Rectangular plan but with
chamfered corners at the east end. Gothick style.
2 storeys with a 7-window north facade to the churchyard
(probably formerly 5, with 2 added). This side has mullioned
2-light windows on both floors, with 2 Tudor-arched lights and
hood-moulds; the east end has a Tudor-arched 3-light window at
mid level, and an altered porch to the right; the rear (to
Rawcliffe Street) has rectangular windows with raised sills,
plain surrounds and C20 joinery. At the west end low additions
form a link with the later West Range (qv).
INTERIOR not inspected.
Forms group with Church of St Peter (qv).
