to The Grange

Wall, gate piers and gates forming roadside boundary of garden.
Early C19 wall of Flemish cross bond, divided into 5 panels,
approximately 22m from south end to gates, and 18 panels,
approximately 85m from gates to north, rising in three curved
stages. Wall has single weathered and throated stone copings.
Gate piers, early C19, of alternating plain and rusticated
limestone blocks, and gabled finials. Iron gates with central
scrolled panel, scrolled crestings and dog rails to lower section.
