3/108 Old Vicarage
II
Vicarage, now house. Late C18 and early C19. Front block of
painted roughcast on brick with slate roof. Two storeys, 3 x 2
bays with a rear wing in brick on right. Entrance in re-entrant
angle, a half glazed door. Twelve-paned sashes with stone sills
and slightly cambered heads. Tripartite window on ground floor
left, and canted flat roofed bay to right. Side return has two
tripartite stone mullioned and framed windows with wedge lintels
and 12-paned sashes. Roof hipped with side stacks. Rear wing of 4
bays, late C18, with first bay narrower and containing stair,
subsequently rebuilt out flush.
Interior has turned baluster dog-leg stair and large open fireplace
in rear wing. Chamfered cross beams.
