GV II
Row of five cottages, now three. Early to mid C19. Dressed
limestone, single-roman tiled roof with coped verges and brick and
concrete stacks. Two-storey, 7-window. No 16 has two 4-panelled
doors and two 12-pane sashes to ground floor, two 12-pane sashes to
first floor. No 17 has glazed door and 16-pane sash to left, C20
door with flat stone hood on brackets and 16-pane sash to right,
first floor has two 12-pane sashes and one C20 16-pane sash, Union
Fire Insurance disc. No 18 has 4-panelled door with 16-pane sash
either side, two 16-pane sashes to first floor, straight joint
separates No 18 from Nos 16 and 17. Rear has lean-to extensions,
sashes to first floor of No 16, casements to Nos 17 and 18.
