Farmhouse, now detached house. Early C17, refenestrated early C19.
Random rubble stone, stone slate roof with coped verges and gable
end stone stacks. L-plan. Two-storey with attic, 4-window.
Central C19 gabled porch with good ledged and studded inner door in
chamfered surround, pair of 12-pane sashes either side with
relieving arches. First floor has pair of sashes either side of
central 2-light recessed cyma-mullioned casement with hoodmould.
Two full attic gables with 2-light mullioned casements and coped
verges with saddlestones. Ashlar C19 bay added to right with plat
band and casement. Right return has 3-light ground floor mullioned
casement, 2-light to first floor and single cyma-moulded casement
to attic. Left return has French window and 2-light casements,
blind window to C19 bay. Rear wing has 3-light chamfered mullioned
casement with hoodmould and leaded lights, attic gable facing east,
north west side has cyma-mullioned casements. C20 single-storey
extension added to rear left.
Interior has fine stone fireplace in room to right of entrance;
Tudor-arched moulded surround with cornice with heraldic shield.
Room to left of entrance has beam with three faceted chamfers.
Kitchen to rear has chamfered stone open fireplace with elliptical
head. First floor has Tudor-arched fireplace in room to right of
entrance, some C17 chamfered door surrounds with bar stops.
