Barn, originally a house, C17th. Slobbered limestone rubble with sandstone
window dressings and slate roof. Formerly two storeys throughout. Wide barn
entrance has plain reveals and modern timber lintel. To the right on the
ground floor is a 3-light chamfered mullioned window with hood mould, now
almost completely blocked. On the 1st floor is a blocked 2-light chamfered
mullioned window. To the left is a later lean-to and a doorway with plain
reveals. On the 1st floor is a blocked 2-light chamfered mullioned window.
Inside are two oak trusses and an original stone wall between what is now
the main barn and a smaller unit at the left-hand end. On the 1st floor at
this end a Cl7th 3-light wooden-mullioned window is visible in the rear
wall, now bricked up on the outside.
