House, late C17th. Slobbered limestone rubble with slate roof and
sandstone dressings. 2 storeys with attic. Central gabled porch flanked
by stone attic dormers, with end stacks. Continuous drip course rises over
ground floor windows and continues around porch. Windows are rebated and
chamfered with mullions. To the left of the porch is a 5-light window, with
one of 2 lights further left. To the right is a former 2-light window with
mullion removed, then a door with plain reveals with a former 2-light window
with mullion removed further right. Porch has a 2-light window at the front,
a one-light window on the left-hand return wall and a door with plain reveals
on the right-hand return wall. The 1st floor has a 4-light window on each
side of the porch with a 2-light window near each gable, with a continuous
drip course broken by the porch. The porch has a 4-light window with
individual hood mould, with a 3-light window with hood mould to the attic.
Attic dormers have similar windows. Each stack has two diagonal caps. South
gable wall has a 2-light window on each floor. South wall of rear wing has
a 4-light window on the ground floor and a 2-light window on the 1st floor.
Interior said by owner to be entirely C20th.
