House, probably C18th, considerably altered. Sandstone rubble with slate
roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays, with central entry. To the left of the door is
a fixed window with glazing bars and plain reveals. To the right is a 2-
light window with roughly chamfered head and jambs and crude stone mullion.
On the 1st floor to the left is a fixed window with glazing bars and plain
reveals. To the right is a 2-light window with stone mullion and plain
reveals. Door has plain reveals. Left-hand gable has low recess with plain
reveals said to be a bee bole, with a similar recess at the right-hand end
of the rear wall. Rear (west) wall has 3 sashed windows, with a fixed
window to the left having plain reveals and glazing bars. Chimneys on the
left-hand gable and to the right of the front door. Inside there is a
shouldered and moulded stone fireplace of C18th type in the right-hand
room. Stone stair rises out of left-hand room.
