Farmhouse with attached barn, now house. Probably mid C18; altered.
Coursed sandstone rubble with quoins, part watershot coursed sandstone,
stone slate roof (now no chimney). Rectangular plan; 2-bay house with
3-bay barn continued to right. Two storeys; modern single-storey gabled
porch at left end, two 2-light flush mullion windows on each floor, a
lean-to porch attached to 1st bay of barn (junction marked by quoins to lst
floor of house); wagon entrance to barn now garage door, and another
doorway at right hand end. Left gable has inserted window at ground floor,
two 2-light windows above (with restored mullions). Rear: various signs of
former alterations, principally ragged tear lines to random rubble centre
suggesting former rear outshut, and stepped junction of barn (lower quoins
belonging to barn, upper to house); several blocked openings at ground
level (ground built up for road); inserted modern flush mullion windows at
1st floor of barn. Interior not inspected.
