House, dated 1798, now 2 dwellings. Squared sandstone in watershot
coursing, with quoins, slate roof with 2 gable chimneys. Two storeys,
symmetrical; central doorway with plain jambs and lintel, and at flat
floor above this a tall plaque with incised lettering W:M .

Two sashed windows on each floor, all with plain surrounds. Left return
wall of scored render has 2 doors and 3 windows; rear wall of random
rubble with several blocked former windows. Right end abuts row of
7 cottages (No. 24 Waterhouse Green., etc., q.v.), with which it shares
group value.
