House. C18, with C20 additions. Brick and ironstone. Graded Swithland slate
roof with gable stacks and ridge stack. West front: 2 storeys, 4 bays. Rubble-
stone plinth with brick set-offs in 2 bays to right of doorway. Moulded eaves
cornice in these 2 bays, unmoulded in 2 bays to left. Off-centre doorway with
frame with brackets, and 4-panel door. To left, a 3-light sliding sash with
cambered arch. To right similar windows, with gauged brick cambered arches.
Below, in the 4th bay to right part of a segmental arch cellar window opening in
plinth. Above, three 2-light sliding sashes. Adjoining to south, a 2-storey C20
range with 2 reset tiles in its west gable end wall, both inscribed; the lower: IC
Sep 24, 1731. The one above: I*B 1731.
