Farmhouse with attached former cottage. Late C18. Brick. L-shaped plan: 2
unit central hall/stairway range parellel to street with kitchen wing to rear.
House has C20 concrete tile roof, with gable stacks. Cottage has Swithland
slate roof and gable stack. East front: 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central doorway
with flat hood on brackets and 4-panel door with glazed overlight, flanked by
single 3-light casements. Above three 3-light casements. All openings have
cambered arches. Attached to left, a single bay 2-storey cottage with lower
roofline. Single 3-light casements on each storey, similar to the house.
South gable wall has a first floor brick band, a small casement in rear
outshut, and a 2-light casement above in the attic. Raised outshut to rear.
Interior: some panelled doors in surrounds, kitchen with chamfered and
stopped ceiling beams. The detached former barn to rear has been altered in
the late C20 and is not included in this listing.
