South arcade c.1200 Early English Gothic, with double chamfered rounded arches, chamfered hoods, with beast and human head stops. Circular piers and capitals. On the left of the picture is an ogee headed piscina. The east end of the south aisle was a chapel. Pitch pine pews, darkly painted and varnished in Victorian style. (Photo Apr 2008).
