1929 by Maurice Webb. Free classical style. Stone faced. 5 storeys and attics,
3-bay centre with additional bay to left and right. Channelled ground floor with
high central door with segmental pediment on consoles. To left and right windows
with cornices on consoles; plain openings to outer bays. 1st to 4th floors, centre-piece with fluted pilasters on vase bases recessed between hollow-chamfered window architraves. Plain rectangular windows with bronze aprons. Plain frieze over with egg and dart cornice and triangular pediment with sculpted figure on apex and vases to left and right. Dominant recessed attic, fluted pilasters to centrepiece with paired lion consoles over supporting simple deeply projecting cornice.
