comprising The New Inn)

Shown on OS map as The Court House.
Former inn, now hostel. C18, altered and extended during late C19 and C20.
Rendered sandstone rubble with Welsh slate roof. L-plan facing west but
obscured to rear by later additions, gable-end stacks and central entrance
to main wing aligned north/south. Two storeys, attics and cellars; west
front: two C20 gabled dormers with 3-light casement windows, three glazing
bar sash windows, open gabled porch with inner ledged door. Partially
mutilated stone plaque to left of window on upper floor bears inscription
with name "New Inn". Interior altered but retains late C18 or early C19
dog-leg staircase with turned balusters.
