GV II
House, now hostel. Late C17 or early C18, with C20 alterations. Rendered
sandstone rubble with C20 tiled roof, stone slates to service wing. Rectangular
plan aligned north-west/south-west with main entrance to left of centre on
north-east front; main axial stack and north-west gable-end stack, service wing
adjoins to north-west end with further gable-end stack. Two storeys, single-
storey service wing; north-east front: three 3-light horizontal sliding sash
windows, one to left and 2 to right, gabled porch with inner heavy wooden framed
doorway with ledged door, flanked by casement windows to ground floor, small
2-light window and larger 3-light window to service wing to right. A 2-light
stone diamond mullioned window survives to rear. Interior is largely altered
but retains some chamfered ceiling beams.
