House, now shop. C17 or earlier, C18 brick front, early C19 shop front.
Timber frame plastered but cased in red brick now painted on front and E
wing. Steep old red tile roofs. A 2-storeys and attics front block
facing S consisting of a wide front range and narrower parallel rear
range, old single-storey W range at rear and later brick and tile ranges
down E side of property stepping down and terminating in a low range
projecting to W. Front has 2 gabled dormers on roofslope with brick
parapet and front wall with 2 wide and one narrow recesses of former
windows. 2 segmental arched higher flush box sashes inserted at same
time as fine projecting rectangular shop front of 2 windows and recessed
central double door. Large panes 3 high and 4 wide in each window.
Panelled stall riser and 2 steps to entrance. E side shows side-purlin
roofs to both ranges of front block and canted oriel with sashes over a
3-light casement with side door at LH.
