Later C18 facade to timber framed building of C15/C16 origin. 2 storeys red
brick, diamond cut brick eaves cornice. Gable end steep pitch old tile roof
with hipped section to front. lst floor has blind window to left and to right
an early C19 canted bay window, sash lights, the glazing bars restored, cornice
and panelled apron. Ground floor has flush architrave framed sash window
to right and to left a door of 6 fielded panels. Heavy moulded architrave,
glazed 5 pane frieze flanked by "Chinoiserie" patterned scrolled brackets
in profile. Moulded dentil cornice and pediment over. 2 stone steps up to
door. Rear elevation has timber framed gable some beams renewed (the last
bay to west has been demolished). Timber framing visible to side as well.
Interior has massive rebuilt C15 ashlar fireplace with timber bressumer. Dragon
beam and joists, also visible.
Nos 77 to 87 (odd) No 2 Avon View and Nos 91 to 95 (odd) form a group.
