Farmhouse, now derelict. Late C16, refaced and enlarged C18 (VCH). Timber framed
(VCH). Faced in brick with brick dentil cornice. C20 tile roof; brick, and stone
and brick chimneys. Complex L-plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. 6-panelled door
and overlight with glazing bars, in moulded wood surround. Simple C19 open wood
porch. Wood mullioned and transomed and casement windows; some have brick
segmental arches, some painted wood lintels. Projecting wing on left. Left
section of main range built out on ground floor. Complex hipped roofs; 3
parallel roofs to front. Brick stack in angle has lias quoins, brick cornice and
4 diagonally-set square shafts of thin bricks. Rear has panelled door and
irregular fenestration. Interior: Open fireplace with chamfered bressumer and
cooking range inserted. Said to have chamfered ceiling beams. Full inspection
not possible.
