GV II

Town house. c1820-40. Incised stucco with plinth and mid-floor
band; rag slate roof with projecting eaves over entablature
with console brackets; brick end stacks. Cast-iron ogee
gutter. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys plus attic; tall
symmetrical 4-window front. Original 12-pane hornless sashes.
Central tripartite doorway with spoked fanlight, glazed and
panelled door and 6-pane sidelights; wide porch with 4 Tuscan
columns and moulded entablature. Side walls have original
sashes. INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to be of interest.
